Revolt of the Seed Sisters

"Fly to the wind with all
my hopes and dreams,"
said Coyote as he picked
a dandelion gone to seed
and blew on it, but the
seeds blew back up
his nose and into his eyes.
They were sick and tired
of being bossed around.

T.V. Dinner

Fox, Pig and Moose were
eating and watching t.v.
when Fox said to Moose,
"Would you please chew
with your mouth closed.
You sound like pigs
copulating in the mud."
"You would be advised
to choose your similes
more tactfully," said Pig
to Fox, "for your chewing,
sir, sounds like a defecating
moose." Moose would have
been insulted by Pig's choice
of similes, but he had been
momentarily distracted by
an advertisement for
crispy cereal. The people
eating the cereal sounded
like Raymond Burr jumping
up and down in a bath tub
full of cockroaches.

Something About Repetition and Denial

"For he's a jolly good fellow,"
sang Crow, Badger, and Fox.
They were honoring Coyote
for teaching them how to
memorize songs. But
after that first line, they
stopped because they
couldn't remember
how the rest went.

Why Coyotes Can't Walk on Water

"Teach me to walk
on water," said
Coyote to Jesus.
"Only if you'll teach
me to dogpaddle,"
said Jesus to Coyote.
"Too tired," said Coyote.
