ALL YOU CAN EAT

N.Y.C. Or What?
Some folks say I should go to Nashville.
Others say, "Hey Guy, you should head on out to LA."
Well, I don't mean to plut them down,
But there's just one nutty little town
That's happenin' enough for me,
And I don't mean London or Pari'.
I'm much to arrogant and pushy for the town where I was born.
I've got to find a place where everbody acts just like me.
I'll take a car, I'll take a train, I'll take a bus, I'll take a plane.
I've got to get there 'cause I know the world is waiting for me.
New York, I think we're talkin NYC,
Open up your Great White Way. Make way for me.
(to "On Broadway")
I'll be a big box office draw on Broadway.
'Cause folks who buy those tickets come from out of town.
I'll know what they want to see,
'Cause they will all be hicks like me.
Critics wouldn't dare to put me down,
On Broadway.
(to New York, New York)
My art will be news.
Willard Scott will mention it on Today.
I want to squeeze a fart at it, New York, New York.
And then I'll bottle that fart
And displaly it at the Museum of Modern Art.
Are we talkin' NYC. or what?
