TRASH FISH

Flash-A-Bugger Tango
First, you wrap it in chenille
For that fuzzy insect feel.
Then you wind the tinsel through,
Then you add some marabou.
Now add some hackles, black or green,
And toss it out into the stream.
Soon it lures its prey into
A Flash-A-Bugger rendezvous.
It can imitate a fish if you retrieve it
Or a nymph that's just emerging if you leave it
Drifting in the current with no motion for its
Flash-A-Bugger rendezvous.
It's kind of like a Wooly Worm
With a wild and curly perm
And tinsel highlights shining through,
That's what we call flash-a-boo.
And when it's underneath the stream,
It looks like something from a dream,
A psychedelic bugaboo,
a Flash-A-Bugger rendezvous.
It makes fishing psychologically exciting
With its sexual implications, so inviting,
But watch out you'll wind up falling victim to
A Flash-A-Bugger rendezvous.
